Medical journals usually expect software to be named in the methods with its developer and location, in addition to the reference. Adapt this example:
Screening [and data extraction] was supported by Puraite (Puraite GmbH, Bielefeld, Germany; https://puraite.com), an AI-supported evidence synthesis platform [ref]. All AI suggestions were reviewed by [n] human reviewers, who made the final decisions.
What to report
PRISMA 2020 (items 8 and 9) asks authors to describe any automation tools used for study selection and data collection. Report:
- which review stages used Puraite, such as title and abstract screening, full-text screening, data extraction or risk-of-bias assessment
- how AI suggestions were used, for example as a second reviewer or for prioritising records, and how humans checked them
- how disagreements between AI suggestions and reviewers were resolved
- the period in which you used Puraite
